Simple. That’s what the “S” in SAF stands for. And that’s what we had in mind when we designed the new support service for our SAFSMS clients..
The SAFSMS Help Desk is an online repository of knowledge that holds tutorials in clear simple steps on how to interact and achieve the everyday tasks needed to fully operate SAFSMS, so you can get the best value out of it. The activities are divided into roles used by SAFSMS users, plus each article contains numbered steps and short instructions to break down complicated steps to their barest minimum.
Don’t know which user role performs a specific function? That’s what the search bar is for. Type in whatever question you have and watch the results come up.
We’ve even added moving pictures so you can see for yourself how it’s done and follow up step by step.
A brief rundown of the contents
The top of each article contains the topic, which usually references some problem that needs to be solved. That’s why we’re here. Right beneath the topic is the Use of the article, this one liner can be easily identified with the underscore format. It helps you understand the objective the article is supposed to achieve.
The next line explains the roles these specific tasks are geared towards and who else can access them. User roles are defined in Bold. The Step by Step guide does just what it says, it gives instructions to completing the task in individual steps, so you can learn at your own pace.
Finally, we have the info panel down below, pay attention to what this little box has to say. It can save you a lot of headache.
Related articles will appear on the bottom left of the page, additionally to navigate all articles confined to a specific user role click the role on the bottom right. Yes that one, right next to the pencil.
